      Job summary

      Due to rapid expansion and onsite developments, Baycliff Dental & Implant Surgery are seeking to recruit an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our ever expanding, amazing team.

      You will be using state of the art technology including 3D scanners and printers, crown milling machine and the highest levels of digital dentistry.

      Job description

      Job responsibilities

      Working 40 hours over 5 days per week, 8:30-5:30 you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

      • Design, fabricate or repair dental devices
      • Whitening trays, bite raising appliances, stents and splints.
      • Design, mill, glaze and stain ceramic work such as crowns and bridges.
        • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
        • Prepare plaster models and moulds
        • Polish and buff dentures
        • Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
        • Finish metal framework of dentures
        • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
        • Mould wax over dentures set-up
        • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
