Position Overview:
The Deposit Operations Specialist will have the opportunity to work within the Deposit Operations Department, completing various tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily processes such as Account Opening, Account Maintenance, Disputes, Third Party Verifications, Check Distributions, Wires, and ACH Reviews.
- Conduct monetary reviews including ODP, non-posts, RICL, exceptions, overdrafts, ARGO, large dollar transactions, foreign check collections, EARNS, mobile deposits, adjustments, blocks, and stop payments.
- Perform non-monetary reviews related to account maintenance, dormant accounts, escrow, returned mail, 3rd party information requests, closed accounts, business and consumer documents, instant issue, e-funds, holds, decedent processing, subpoenas, levies, and year-end processes.
- Handle inbound and outbound wire transfer processing.
- Process mail deposits and restitutions to the correct account.
- Process documentation for non-standard account processing, such as Estate, Guardianships, Power of Attorney, Name Changes, and Third Party Verifications.
- Review account processing activities, including customer account maintenance and documentation changes, new account documentation, deposit exceptions, and form transmittals for scanning.
- Correspond with branches/call center via phone or in writing to resolve service requests.
- Process deposit return transactions and report suspicious activities to the BSA/Fraud team.
- Meet established goals for all metrics, including Quality and Productivity.
- Perform daily processing of Instant Issue Cards, including printing, stuffing, and mailing.
- Ensure all items/requests are processed in accordance with regulatory standards and bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Provide mentorship and training to less experienced staff within Deposit Operations.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years of previous customer service experience within a retail, financial services industry, or bank.
- 3 years of experience using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma is required.
- Intermediate skills in alphanumeric data entry.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to provide prompt, clear, concise information to others.

- Demonstrate respect for others.
- Prioritize work duties for maximum efficiency and execute transactions with minimal errors.
