Job summary
The post holder will assist the Counter Fraud Manager in the day-to-day management of the Counter Fraud department and will deputise for the Counter Fraud Manager in their absence.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop managerial skills within a small team that provides counter fraud services to five NHS Wales Organisations.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Counter Fraud Manager will be an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist, with experience providing counter fraud services to a high level.
The role will require the post holder to organise and prioritise their own workload whilst also providing a level of supervision and support to the Local Counter Fraud Specialists in the team. This includes but is not limited to, the management and supervision of; team investigations, fraud risk, audit work and team governance and strategy.
The post holder will also be required to support the Counter Fraud Manager and deputise in their absence, as required, in respect of matters pertaining to the provision of local counter fraud services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
