      Hourly Rate: £15.11

      32 hours a week

      Mumbles Medical Practice is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team.

      We are looking for an exceptional, all-round deputy practice manager with excellent communication skills, who will work closely with the Practice Manager to provide leadership and support to the practice staff. We have 5 GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and 3 Practice Nurses and administration team plus additional staff

      The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the NHS, you will need to be adaptable day by day and to understand and respond to the dynamic nature of the role. This includes being able to balance the needs of the practice and our workforce with the challenge of providing good quality healthcare for our patients.

      Main duties of the job

      This role requires the ability to work as part of a team with confidence and resilience. You will need to be adaptable day by day and to understand and respond to the dynamic nature of the role. This includes being able to balance the needs of the practice and our workforce with the challenge of providing good quality healthcare for our patients.

      You will be closely supported by the practice manager, and will work closely with our senior administrator, senior receptionist, receptionists and clinical team.

      About us

      Mumbles Medical Practice is within walking distance of the pretty village of Mumbles which is full of character and charm to the west of Swansea Bay. The practice serves a patient population of 7700 patients. The current Practice team consists 5 Partners, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and 3 part-time nurses who are supported by the admin team.

      Providing a confident working knowledge of HR legislation, day to day management of HR issues, provision of contracts and ensuring DBS checks and references are in place.

      Managing complaints, compliments, learning events compliance

      Data collection, reporting and patient feedback

      Working with admin and clinical staff to ensure QOF targets are met

      Supporting the provision and future development of the practice and patient services within the local community.
