- Deliver patient based teaching to CP2 medical students

Job summary
The UHDB Dermatology department based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital and the Royal Derby Hospital is a very busy department, with 8 Dermatology Consultants, 2 Associate Specialists along with a team of Specialist Registrars, GP Hospital Practitioners / Specialty Doctors and Specialist dermatology nurses.
This post is 50% Teaching Fellow appointment for a fixed-term period of 12 months, from August 2024. Based at Florence Nightingale Hospital and the Royal Derby Hospital, the appointee will undertake duties for the Directorate of Medical Education and Workforce.
Main duties of the job
Four programmed activities per week will be allocated for the post holder to support Undergraduate Medical Education teaching, as well as teaching administration time.
There will be two service delivery sessions in the form of a dermatology clinic and a surgical session to gain experience and skills in dermatology at post graduate level, and a dermatology CPD session, as well as clinical administrative time. There will be opportunities to see dermatology ward referrals.
