- 10+ years experience crafting extraordinary user interface designs for iOS, desktop or web platforms.
- 3+ years proven experience leading a design team.
- Proficient in Sketch, Keynote, and other design tools.
- Work enthusiastically with a highly collaborative design team in an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.
- • Possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- • Have a passion for Apple, its products, and its customers.
- • Experience with health apps/programs/data is not vital but valuable.
- • This is a site-based role.
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400 and $275,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Summary
The Apple Health Special Projects team is looking for a passionate designer with management experience to help lead a growing team in the health space. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, values building strong relationships, can attack hard problems with enthusiasm and enjoys not only leading a team, but also designing, and the design process itself. In this role, they will be asked to lead a small team, own big design problems; work very collaboratively and cross-functionally; and pull together a team’s work to build beautiful and cohesive experiences.Key QualificationsDescription• Communicate big ideas and design concept ideas through keynotes. • Collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, product managers, clinicians and data scientists to define problems and goals. • Provide feedback and focus for the team by setting design direction and priorities. • Responsible for design consistency & continuity within the team and within the Apple ecosystem. Uphold Apple design guidelines and process. • Lead collaboration and critique across the team until the best solution is found. • Participate and facilitate hiring of team members. • Advance issues accordingly.Education & ExperienceBachelors Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar preferred.Additional RequirementsPay & BenefitsAbout the company
