      Responsibilities:

      Design Systems & Component Architecture
      Own, evolve, and manage the design system—components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and accessibility guidelines.
      Build and maintain scalable, reusable front-end component libraries for web and mobile.
      Define and enforce consistent UI/UX patterns and standards across platforms and teams.
      Collaborate with designers to translate concepts into practical, system-ready components.

      Technical Leadership & Architecture
      Architect and implement technical frameworks and patterns that support long-term scalability and performance.
      Partner with engineers to align front-end architecture with broader system needs.
      Provide hands-on contributions to codebases and guide best practices.

      AI-Driven Design & Development
      Identify and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance design system efficiency, UX quality, and front-end workflows.
      Use AI analytics and behavior tools to inform UX improvements and user flow optimizations.
      Pilot AI-driven prototyping, code generation, and accessibility auditing where applicable.
      Champion responsible, value-driven use of AI, recognizing both its potential and its limitations.
      Apply sound engineering and product judgment when incorporating AI, understanding that AI can accelerate delivery but cannot replace systems thinking, human-centered design, or long-term architectural vision.
      Help build a culture that values AI fluency, encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning across the team.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship
      Mentor engineers and designers on design system use and front-end architecture standards.
      Support teams with implementation guidance, documentation, and reusable patterns.
      Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams to drive consistent adoption of system components.

      Innovation & Continuous Improvement
      Stay current on trends in UI/UX, front-end frameworks, and AI-enabled tooling.
      Continuously evolve the design system and architectural approach for scale and efficiency.

      Minimum Qualifications:
      10+ years of experience in front-end/UI development or architecture.
      5+ years of experience working with design systems and component libraries.
      Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
      Experience with Ionic or hybrid mobile frameworks.
      Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, accessibility, responsive design, and design system governance.
      Hands-on experience defining technical patterns, system architecture, and reusable components.
      Familiarity with or interest in AI tools for design and development, such as GitHub Copilot, Figma AI, Uizard, or user analytics platforms.
      Demonstrated curiosity and self-motivated learning around the evolving role of AI in software development and user experience.
      Comfortable mentoring others and working across disciplines.
      SaaS experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
      Preferred: Experience in the hospitality industry.

      Compensation:
      The typical starting salary range for this position is: $140,000-160,000
      The actual salary offer will consider multiple factors, including skills, experience, education, and location. Please note that the salary reflects the base amount only and does not include total compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and benefits.
