      Position Summary:

      The Designer role will work collaboratively with other designers to support the Product Development and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for creating brand experiences through the development of a wide variety of consumer facing print and media products. The ideal candidate must be highly creative, possess advanced technical skills, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, while remaining extremely organized, accurate, and detail oriented.


      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Work collaboratively with editors, brand managers, project managers and designers to conceptualize new and revise existing print and multi-media materials while maintaining all deadlines
      • Showcase a high level of creativity, good judgement and problem-solving skills, within fast timelines
      • Develop concepts for internal textbooks, covers, packaging, and marketing collateral, from inception to production files, based upon printer and digital templates and file-building guidelines
      • Constantly innovate off of existing assets to reflect the high aesthetic standards of the brand
      • Maintain proficient knowledge of our products and current trends in design practices.

      • Demonstrate your impressive design skills, knowledge of design trends and best practices
      • Show your ability to take initiative, work with a sense of urgency and set priorities
      • Showcase your curiosity and willingness to learn from others and your ability to quickly pivot as opportunities or needs arise


      Within your first month, you’ll:

      • Build solid knowledge of our products and processes across Product Development and Marketing departments, while following specified guidelines for file naming, management, and organization
      • Partner with other designers and team members on small to medium projects, to create concepts for a wide range of products that meet brand standards

      Within your first year, you’ll:

      • Work independently and manage a multiple-project workload from conception to production file release
      • Partner with Creative Director, Managers, and other Designers to create new and engaging design solutions for books, packaging, and marketing materials including, DTC print, websites, email, and social media

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      None

      Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Two years of design experience

      Qualifications:

      • Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
      • Experience with animation and video creation a plus
      • Familiarity with Adobe XD a plus
      • Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint)
      • Familiarity with Workfront or other project management systems a plus

      Pay Range

      The typical pay range for this role is:

      Paygrade: E10

      Minimum – Maximum

      $46,350-$75,100

      Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location, experience, and equity within the organization.
