Summary
The main function of the Art Director is to oversee the design, preparation, and creation of web projects using a variety of new media software applications, techniques and tools. This person will be involved in UX, wireframing and visual design. This role also will include managing a design system. This person is a self-starter and has experience working with developers and engineers. We are looking for a talented, versatile, and strategic Digital Art Director who is strong on visual design with experience in UX design. You are a design fundamentalist, but approach projects with a rational and innovative mindset. You extend visual language, always mindful of how it looks and how it works.

Job Description

• Execute top-quality and cutting-edge visual design work for a digital platform.
• Design high-quality, responsive, and mobile-first websites.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Define the visual designs, ideate, sketch and design the user experience to deliver a smart, cohesive visual design system to the engineering team.
• Work closely with creative leads, writers, UX designers, regional marketers, stakeholders, dev teams and strategists to implement a cohesive visual branding, voice and tone.
• Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology and be proactive in bringing up ideas of enhancements to the websites.
• Lead the charge on regional work to deliver content that’s delightful, culturally relevant and clear.
• Ensure work across the team answers the brief, is on brand and of the highest quality.
• Develop style guide, design assets, user interfaces, infographics and iconography.
• Responsible for the execution of production work with exceptional craftsmanship.
• Self-motivated, a great communicator, and comfortable receiving feedback.
• Experience in motion graphic design is a plus.
