What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate prospect identification efforts with development teams and alumni engagement officers
- Represent the employer at fundraising events and host development-related functions
- Build and manage a development portfolio while cultivating and soliciting major gift prospects
- Develop proficiency in fundraising systems and an understanding of charitable giving tax laws
- Attend monthly meetings and regular evaluations to assess progress on learning goals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge equivalent to a four-year college program in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
- Up to six months of related experience in fundraising, public relations, marketing, or non-profit management
- Valid vehicle operator's license at the time of hire
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state as required
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or Public Relations
- Demonstrated experience in professional fundraising or related fields
- Strong written and oral communication skills
