WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHERThe Development Operations Coordinator will be responsible for performing multiple operations and administrative functions in support of Global Development's Operations team and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The Coordinator will work closely to support hiring managers in the division on recruitments. From posting through the offer, they will work to ensure all required recruitment processes are completed and the division is compliant with recruitment guidelines. They will work with the hiring manager to identify posting locations to ensure diverse applicant pools, communicate with applicants throughout the recruitment, and assist with data entry in The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) human resources management system. They may provide additional support to the hiring manager by performing the first review of resumes and cover letters. They will be the primary point of contact for recruiting issues within the division and manage the division recruitment intranet site and resources. They will work with the Director of Finance & Operations (DFO) for Global Development on creating and updating recruitment reports for division leadership.
The Coordinator will work closely with the DEI Lead for the division to coordinate activities in support of the Global Development division's DEI action plan, which includes meeting scheduling, event/training planning, and communications. They will also provide back-up coverage for division reception, answering calls the toll-free line and sorting scanned incoming mail for division staff. The Coordinator may perform other duties to enhance the work of the team, as needed. They will use available systems and resources to maintain and track data, and to produce reports. They will need to be knowledgeable about all procedures and processes related to their work. They will coordinate activities with multiple variables, set realistic deadlines, manage timelines, and seek opportunities to improve effectiveness. The Coordinator may handle inquiries about program activities and assist in the development of materials and correspondence. They will work cooperatively with Conservancy staff, providing information necessary to make decisions and solve problems. The Coordinator may communicate on behalf of their supervisor or other staff with internal and external sources, including staff, vendors, and applicants in order to coordinate arrangements, convey information, and ensure successful execution of program.
The Coordinator will report to the Director of Finance & Operations (DFO) and is part of the Leadership and Operations department within the Global Development division. SALARY INFORMATIONThe starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $53,465 – $63,798 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
