- In coordination with the Foundation Director, develop and implement strategies for annual giving and grants.
- Reviews and interprets funding solicitations and announcements from public and private funding sources and remains current on grant standards, proposal practices, and guidelines.
- Coordinates with Foundation Director and Grant Administrator to develop grant applications for new and existing programs.
- Provides timely and accurate reporting of fundraising results.
- Assist Foundation Director with evaluating College projects for which funding is desired; research and identify potential private, corporate, and government grant opportunities; and develop timelines and strategies to obtain project funding.
- Assists Foundation Director with tracking and reporting grant expenditures and timelines, including Perkins and Talent Ready Utah grants.
- Serves as the liaison between Fiscal Department and Training Division to ensure accurate programmatic reporting, expenditure, and procedural compliance on all grants.
- Coordinates with Marketing Department to promote Foundation and grant programs for private and government grants and scholarships.
- Keeps abreast of changing grant standards, proposal practices, and guidelines.
- Prepares for Foundation Board and Foundation committees by creating agendas, communicating with Board members and invited guests, and taking meeting minutes.
- Provides technical writing, proofreading assistance, meeting minutes, and documentation, and create presentations to maintain consistency, accuracy, and a professional representation of the College.
- Assists with the management and recognition of in-kind donations.
- Assistswiththedevelopmentanddistributionofcommunicationstopartnersanddonors.
- Maintainsadvancedknowledgeandskills insoftwareproductsrequiredfortheposition.
- Provides support with special projects related to grant and foundation initiatives.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

- Associate Degree in a related discipline
- Three (3) years of related experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, or business.
- Must possess excellent internet research skills.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Must have strong interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently.
- Must have the ability towork efficiently and accurately on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines, and complete projects and initiatives in a timely manner.
- Must have the ability to manage complex assignments with organizational skills and attention todetail.
- Two (2) years of proven experience working with private or public foundations and grant writing preferred.
- Knowledge of local and state communities with existing relationships with industry and community leaders is preferred.
Ensures a strong base of ongoing financial support from private foundations, corporations,and federal, state, and local governments. Assists with the administration of a comprehensive grant development program to include grant research, identification of appropriate applications, coordination among entities, proposal development, grant writing, and reporting in pursuit of public and private funding sources on behalf of the College.
