Your Role

• R&D lab operation: responsible for safe and efficient operation of R&D lab in PC Boshan
  • Safety: Ensure that all areas under direct control, are conducted and work in a safe and effective manner in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policy as well as all applicable regional laws and regulations related to labor, safety and environment.
  • Competence: Enable all the ongoing Engineering test activities are proactively supported from test layout/ preparation/recording side. Be the owner of 1st-hand Engineering information output.
  • Efficiency: Utilize existing resources to maximum support on hand test requirements. Ensure the progress of highlighted tasks by workflow optimization. Maintain the lab in good shape from safety, efficiency and 5S aspects.
  • Resource: Do housekeeping of all tangible and intangible assets and ensure no unexpected losses/leakages following the procedure of financial and IP.
• Teamwork: Develop positive relationships to promote collaboration among multifunctional teams. Support and guide the other departments in their technical needs. Actively support the other teams whenever this cooperation is the more effective or sustainable way to reach the company objectives.
• Live according to and consistently promote the behaviors associated with the 5 competences of Atlas Copco’s talent framework, within your own team and towards your colleagues and superiors. Develop and support a spirit of open communication, fairness, non-discrimination and respect for the individuals within your own team and towards your colleagues and superiors. To succeed, you will need

Education

• Technician education background, BSc would be preferable.

Experience, competence and knowledge

• 3+ years experience with assembly of core parts in manufacturing industry, experience with rotating machinery would be preferable.
• Knowledge on fitting/grade of materials/pipings/electricity/etc...
• Experience or in-depth understanding on R&D test layouts, workflows and outcomes.
• 1 or more of below 3 competences would be preferable: Crane driver, low-voltage electrician, forklift driver

Language

• Basic in reading/written English using translation softwares

• Sense of innovation, continuous improvement and multiple ways. Very strong sense of conficentiality and boundary from other departments/colleagues/people outside of our organization.
