We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Cloud Engineer with experience in driving the development of Azure-based cloud solutions to join our Cloud platform team, part of DHS Research & Development. The role is based on our modern facilities in the city center of Copenhagen.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead to manage our small Cloud & DevOps Center of Excellence responsible for supporting our software development teams with knowledge and best practices within the fields of Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. As the Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing cloud architecture, enabling product development teams to manage their pipelines, build and deploy systems efficiently, and integrate best practices. This role will focus on Azure-based cloud solutions, ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure.

What you will do:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring it aligns with best practices and supports the needs of our development teams.

• Security Expertise: Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud-based applications and infrastructure for the Getinge DHS product portfolio.

• CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with software development teams to seamlessly integrate CI/CD practices into the development process, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.

• Pipeline Automation: Assist software development teams in building and automating CI/CD pipelines for their products, fostering a culture of automation and efficiency.

• Cloud Journey Support: Work closely with product teams to provide guidance and support in their cloud adoption journey, helping them leverage Azure cloud services effectively.

• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Azure cloud services and DevOps practices. Evaluate the fit of new technology with the Getinge DHS architecture and infrastructure.

• Knowledge Sharing: Share your knowledge and experience with fellow team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Team Leadership: Foster and build a high-performing team within the Cloud DevOps Center of Excellence. Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to team members, enabling their professional growth and development.

Your Experience

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar

• Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on Azure-based cloud solutions.

• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub actions)

• Infrastructure-as-Code

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Source control tools ex. Git

• Scripting (Azure CLI, PowerShell)

• Certifications like MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert or MS Lead DevOps Cloud Engineer Expert are a plus

• Previous software development experience is a plus
