What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design, code, test, debug, deploy, and document software in an agile environment
- Work alongside other DevOps Engineers, Full Stack Software Engineers, UX Researchers, Designers, and Product Managers to enhance an enterprise grant management system
- Address a variety of technical challenges while utilizing a diverse skill set
- Contribute to non-DevOps work, including full stack development and support issue collaboration
- Engage in pair programming, ensemble programming, or swarming with teammates throughout the day

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of combined application development and DevOps experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Proven ability to write high-quality code, tests, and documentation efficiently
- Knowledge and experience with building Pipeline Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and container technology

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud.gov
- Familiarity with Java
- Experience with AWS and automation tools such as Terraform
- Knowledge of security aspects of cloud infrastructure including vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Background in automated testing practices, striving for 100% automated test coverage
