What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and automate fully automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications
- Design solutions for performance, scalability, and high availability of library services
- Coordinate implementations and communicate service changes to management and customers
- Participate in project planning and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements
- Assist in software system upgrades and maintenance, ensuring adherence to security best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Docker and backend application development
- Expertise in system and network architecture with a focus on security monitoring
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, or similar containerization systems
- Familiarity with configuration management software (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, code reviews, and test-driven development
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Solr)
