      What you’ll do at Elekta

      DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for facilitating the delivery of software through automation and maintenance of related tooling and security oversight for Elekta IntelliMax – Elekta’s IoT platform.

      You will collaborate with software engineering teams to design, deploy, and operate IoT software applications. This includes automating and optimizing our operations and processes; building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring operations; and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments. The role requires you to have hands-on technical experience and a “can-do” approach toward environment automation/management and continuous improvement.

      • Prepares robust deployment and backout plans
      • Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
      • Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure
      • Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems
      • Organize the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively
      • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
      • Continuously improve the System/DevOps infrastructure.
      • Perform root cause analysis of errors that occur in production and staging environments.
      • Identify and drive opportunities for improvement related to processes, tools, and overall product quality.
      • Owns and is responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting software and operational components in such a way that they fulfil the requirements of all stakeholders.

      The right stuff

      • Responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the build, deployment,, and monitoring standards of software build/release pipelines
      • Act as part of Agile development teams to deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment
      • Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology working closely with development teams to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system
      • Support teams and developers in debugging and troubleshooting build and release issues.
      • Collaborate with the global System/DevOps team to continuously improve DevSecOps working practices
      • Work closely with members of the QA, release management, etc. to facilitate the delivery of our products on a regular cadence.

      Nice to have

      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field
      • 3 years’ experience with source code repositories, version control systems, continuous integration, Windows installers, and automation.
      • Experience with Build tools for .NET/c# Applications.
      • Experience with DevOps applications in low-code platforms.
      • Experience with DevOps tooling: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git,
      • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
      • Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging in
      • Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines
      • Strong scripting skills, including batch files, shell scripts, Python, etc.
      • Experience working with and deploying to Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies. Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
