Job Description

- Address regular and escalated consumer and customer dispute inquires.
- Deal with complaints, issues, and problems via inbound and outbound calls.
- Evaluate policies and procedures and provide insights into potential innovations and/or efficiencies.
- Research and respond to internal customer inquiries regarding credit reporting or the credit dispute process.
- Daily e-OSCAR, written, and verbal dispute & complaint investigations and responses.
- Conduct account reviews for accuracy of reported information.
- Maintain relationships with CRAs, data furnishing monitoring and remediation. Analyze data, track trends, report to Regulatory Manager any inconstancies and implement remediation.
- Regulatory process writing, training, and monitoring which would include conducting reviews on processes for adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years’ experience in credit dispute resolution experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Strong ability with written communication to resolve problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
- Excellent communication
- PC skills including knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Windows, etc.)

The DFC Dispute Resolution Associate I role will be the liaison between DFC and the customer to resolve any consumer disputes in regard to loans and credit reporting issues.
The DFC Regulatory Support I reports to the DFC Regulatory Compliance Manager.
Location: Medford, OR (Hybrid) or Remote, USA
Compensation Range: $19.65/hr - $27.05/hr
