      We’re hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic for our Bismarck, ND location, offering a competitive starting rate of $30/hour.       IN THE ROLE OF A DIESEL MECHANIC

      As a Diesel Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as both gas and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance. You’ll need to keep both indoor and outdoor work areas clean and organized. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining service trucks during service calls. Effective communication with customers, the Service Supervisor, and the parts department is crucial for providing updates on repair progress and ensuring the timely ordering and receipt of parts. Safety is a top priority as you complete tasks efficiently, and you'll also need to accurately track parts ordered and repair hours.


      QUALIFICATIONS

      • A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
      • Previous experience working with DC voltage controls, hydraulics, and gas and diesel engines
      • The willingness to work outdoors in all seasons and cross-train in other repair areas

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

      • Lift up to 75 lbs.
      • Sit, stand, and walk for the majority of your shift
      • Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
