      Statement of the Position:

      Highly skilled and experienced Dietitian/Sales Representative to promote our medical nutrition and other medical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. Additionally, provide support to internal team and existing clients with providing recommendations for alternative nutrition products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with referral sources and customers.

      Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

      · Provide educational programs, in-services, and workshops on medical nutrition products and their applications. · Offer clinical support and guidance to healthcare professionals, clients and internal team members on the use of our products.

      · Stay up-to-date on the latest research, trends, and developments in clinical nutrition.

      · Create lead development strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations.

      · Build and maintain relationships with existing referral sources to increase sales and customer satisfaction.

      · Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to develop and implement sales strategies.

      • Exhibits excellent presentation skills in a clinic setting. Can develop and deliver highly effective executive presentations. Has the strong ability to present clinical and technical information in a meaningful and engaging way.
      • Is highly professional in appearance and behaviors. Represents the NSM brand of HEARTS values, by exhibiting honor, excellence, accountability, respect, teamwork and service during all interactions.

      · Manage sales reports, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics.

      · Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product promotions.

      · Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product launches.

      • Is knowledgeable about NSMs payers, including Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Payers. Accountable for educating referral source’s understanding of documentation needs for payer coverage.
      • Supports Director of Supply and Sales Manager with other needs within the Supply Division.
      • Performs any job related duties assigned to him/her. Carries out all expectations in a professional manner and with minimal supervision.
      • Responsible for personal continuing education related to job duties; i.e.: NSM’s current and/or new policies and procedures, completing any courses on NSM University, and research of payer issues and updates related to his or her territory.

      Work Environment:

      This job operates in a professional office environment and in various clinical settings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This person will have access to personal health information and must be comfortable patient facing with individuals with complex care needs.

      Physical Demands:

      The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.

      Required Education, Experience & Competencies:

      1. Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field.

      2. Registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) certification.

      1. Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, sales, or a related field.

      2. Proven track record of success in sales or business development.

      1. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

      2. Strong clinical nutrition knowledge and expertise.

      3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

      4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
