What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating cataloging and metadata processes for the digital library
- Perform original and enhanced copy cataloging of various materials, including images, books, and manuscripts
- Contribute to quality control and workflow optimization for digital collections
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support library initiatives
- Promote collections and ensure accessible online delivery of materials

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- Working experience with cataloging and metadata standards, including RDA and LCSH
- Experience creating and managing metadata for digital collections
- Knowledge of digital formats and best practices for online accessibility
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent experience
- Experience supervising and training staff or students
- Professional experience in academic archives, libraries, or museum environments
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems (DAMS)
- Expertise in improving accessibility of online materials
