Digital Communications and Engagement Manager
PO5: Starting salary £48,747 pa rising in annual increments to £51,783 per annum incl LW
12-months Fixed Term Contract or Secondment Opportunity
We’re looking for a creative and experienced Digital Communications and Engagement Manager to join the communications team on a 12-month contract (ending September 4th 2024) at one of London’s most exciting and diverse boroughs, with offices in the heart of Brixton.
This role is an opportunity to use your digital communications skills to help create engaging and well considered content that reflects our borough’s priorities. You’ll get to work on a massive range of projects, from climate change to public health, youth programmes to parks and leisure.
We’re keen to keep pushing boundaries with our communications and you’ll be an integral part of this, helping to deliver campaigns, manage our digital channels and keeping up to date with the latest digital opportunities.

The Team
Lambeth Council’s Campaigns and Communications team produce high quality communications on behalf of Lambeth Council across all its service areas. The team of 15 covers a wide range of campaigns and communications disciplines including design, print, press, social media, marketing and internal communications. The work is fast paced and varied and undertaken by a fun and enthusiastic team.
We operate on hybrid working model, providing employees greater flexibility and opportunity to work from home. Office working would be at our modern offices in the heart of the Brixton Town Centre, less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Underground and Overground train stations.
