      Job Description:

      The Digital Health Director is responsible for leading and directing the operational, financial, programmatic, and personnel activities of the digital health department. Digital health encompasses the patient and clinician experiences related to virtual care, including digital front door, virtual care visits, telehealth clinicians and remote patient monitoring technologies. This department is responsible for the operational support for digital health initiatives. The Director participates and leads large scale strategic digital health initiatives and programs to assist the organization with successful development, implementation, and support of patient care activities.

      Education Qualifications:

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Directs program development and implementation of multi-year digital health strategy across all facilities system-wide
      • Accountable for timeline management to achieve successful deployment, implementation and ongoing operations associated with digital health programs in area of oversight
      • Leads digital health operational project team
      • Builds, measures, and assists with reporting on telehealth business drivers such as revenue and return on investment
      • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers
      • Serves as an internal and external expert for telehealth compliance, program performance, market positioning, and strategic development
      • Stays up to date with emerging technology and regulatory trends that may affect the digital health program and communicates program risks to organizational leader
      • Assists organization with review of technology and supports organization in developing a program that balances patient care innovations and business needs
      • Effectively communicate across the organization regarding digital health programming and initiatives

      Educational Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant subject area such as Business Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing or related field

      Required Qualifications:

      • 8 years relevant experience working in a complex healthcare environment including inpatient and outpatient settings
      • 3 years minimum of progressive leadership experience

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Direct patient care experience
      • Direct experience with telehealth or digital health program management
      • Master’s degree in business, Health Care management or related field
