Position Summary Reporting into the Email & CRM Digital Manager, within the Sherwin-Williams Consumer Brands Division, the Digital Email Specialist will have a passion for email, CRM and providing cutting-edge digital automation solutions by utilizing the newest technologies. This position will focus on marketing automation platform administration, collaboration with creative teams, sending compelling email campaigns, A/B testing and analytics reporting. The Digital Email Specialist will play an integral role as an email subject-matter advisor to a multitude of cross-functional teams such as digital, brand, creative, IT & agencies. Success will be achieved by building strong partnerships and providing best-practice email solutions to iconic brands like Valspar, HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams, Krylon, Minwax, Cabot, Thompson’s WaterSeal & Purdy. Candidates should expect a hybrid working environment, in the office 3 days a week. Core Responsibilities · Create new email marketing programs within the Consumer Brands Division marketing automation platform. To include engagements, promos, newsletters, website forms and product programs. · Assist in leading deployment of emails within marketing automation programs. · Ability to configure smart lists and flows within marketing automation programs. This defines day, time of day and specific segments that emails will be sent out to. · Assist in managing subscriber databases across 10 brands. Tasks include scrubbing data, importing data, managing inactive vs. active subscribers and deliverability audits. · Performing A/B testing and providing recommendations to the digital team, brands, agencies, and creative teams. The outcome of A/B testing will help us to optimize future emails and increase email performance. · Execute email quality assurance reviews, prior to email campaign deployment, that includes cross browser/device testing in Litmus, segmentation validation, email link verification and ADA compliance review. · Assist in mining email data from marketing automation platforms, in order to provide brand teams with email performance metrics, such as deliverability rates, open rates and click rates, as well as partnering with the digital analytics lead to track post-email journeys on Consumer Brands Division websites. · Serve as the subject-matter expert and deliver recommendations on email trends in order to help brand teams evolve touchpoints across the omni-channel. · Work with creative agencies and internal creative teams to develop appropriate creative for emails and engagements that drive to brand.com sites. · Provide support and troubleshooting to our clients (Consumer Brand Division teams) in order to ensure they’re satisfied with the email services they’re receiving from the digital team. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. FORMAL EDUCATION: a. Required: · Bachelor’s Degree in marketing b. Preferred: · Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint · Adobe suite knowledge 2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: a. Required: · 2 years in Email Marketing · 2 years experience with Marketing Automation Platforms/Marketing Communications · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills · Experience in crm automation marketing platform b.
