What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide one-to-one support for youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families in the home
- Ensure the health and safety of the youth at all times, treating them and their families with dignity
- Maintain regular communication with your supervisor and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Encourage social behavior and appropriate self-expression while modeling realistic expectations
- Complete necessary documentation, including service logs and incident reports, by specified deadlines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED
- Meet agency and state requirements, including CPR and First Aid certifications
- Experience assisting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred
- Must submit to a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license, registration, insurance, and satisfactory driving record required if driving for the agency

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Additional certifications in related fields or specialized training
