What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide strategic counsel on global employment law matters, including recruiting, employee relations, and compliance with employment contracts
- Partner with various teams to implement practical solutions that align with business objectives while managing legal risk
- Monitor emerging employment law risks and advise the business on necessary policy adjustments
- Manage employment-related projects, developing scalable legal support processes and conducting trainings
- Oversee employment litigation and administrative agency investigations with a strategic and cost-effective approach

What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in the state bar where the position is located
- 12+ years of experience as a practicing attorney in global employment law, with at least 5 years as in-house counsel
- Extensive knowledge of employment laws in California or New York, as well as multiple states
- Solid understanding of international employment laws across various regions
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage shifting client demands in a fast-paced environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology company
- Demonstrated ability to implement and scale legal solutions successfully
- Familiarity with applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and ComplianceHR
