- Create a leading sales culture through effective business planning, coaching and sustainment of strong sales and client service disciplines
- Expand and deepen client relationships by actively increasing your profile within the community, being a client champion and leveraging internal partners throughout the Bank
- Proactively acquire new clients by developing a disciplined sales approach, understanding clients’ needs and asking for business and referrals. This is achieved by you individually and through ongoing coaching of your team
- Meet revenue, client growth and profitability targets by developing and executing a detailed marketing and business development plan for the District Office to position Roynat Capital as a market leader in the provision of creative financing solutions for growth oriented mid-market companies
- Lead by example, holding yourself and your team to high standards of performance, superior client service and operational excellence
- Outstanding sales leadership and coaching skills
- Exceptional portfolio management skills, including proven ability to execute sales activities and manage sales pipeline
- Excellent ability to establish and maintain a referral network to generate closed referrals
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent relationship building and teamwork skills
- Advanced credit skills
- Advanced knowledge of the Canadian Commercial Banking marketplace
- 5+ years of commercial banking experience
- MBA, professional designation (e.g. CA, CMA, CFA) or a post-graduate degree with a focus in business, finance, accounting or economics

The Calgary Office is currently seeking a Director and District Manager that will provide coverage for the Alberta South District Office
As a Director and District Manager you will:
Performance objectives for this role reward proactive, resourceful and committed portfolio management of complex and/or highly customized financial solutions for clients. You are responsible for the delivery of an exceptional client experience; new client acquisition; credit underwriting and compliance; revenue growth and referral activities - both individually and through effective motivation of your team. You have a passion for understanding clients’ businesses while helping your team achieve superior results.
