      About the Role:
      Director of the AIP (Application Information Platform) will be responsible to partnering with business teams to define the data technology strategy, architecture, design and best practices for data platforms and related solutions, with overarching goals of developing and improving our data platforms improving time to market, reducing risks related to data, incorporate observability and telemetry, develop insights of functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, purchasing, buying, supply chain, etc.) and improving agility of the organization.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Manage a team of data warehouse engineers to architect, build, and maintain highly performant data models and data transformation processes in Google BigQuery to be used for operational reporting, dashboarding, analytics, and data science.
      • Partner with business leaders to understand data needs and provide highly accurate, reliable, and performant data solutions to drive critical business operations.
      • Responsible for building the underlying data platform and services that enable reporting, analytics, data services and self-service experiences.
      • Directs and develops the teams responsible for developing and improving our data platforms improving time to market, delivery, operations, and customer experience.
      • Accountable for platform innovation provisioning, BI portal tools and self-service.
      • Manage a team of data warehouse engineers to design, build, and maintain enterprise data models and data transformation pipelines.
      • Collaborate and influence cross-functionally with data and technology teams including extended teams to define and execute data strategy and deliverables.
      • Partner with Business Analytics team in the implementation of data management and governance platforms and processes.
      • Lead data platforms and solutions retirement, migration and end of life efforts
      • Assess data implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations, policies and procedures.
      • Lead all aspects of the migration of data and services from legacy systems to new solutions.
      • Leverage highly skilled data architect, solution architects and BI engineers to augment project and product teams for critical deliverables.
      • Lead data technology strategy, architecture, design and best practices of analytics alongside functional IT leads and business analytics teams
      • Ensure data platforms have proper cost controls in place and manage budget conversations for expansion with senior management.
      • Ensures engineering and operational excellence by collaborating across the organization to define development standards and implement such data solutions that align with our broader technology strategy and ultimately drive a superior customer experience.

      About The Pay:

      • Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 Annually

      About You:

      • BA / BS in Computer Science, Data Science/Statistics or a related study, or equivalent experience
      • 10+ years of experience in IT data platform/Application Information Platform and related technology.
      • 5+ years of experience in building, scaling, maintaining, managing and optimizing enterprise-grade data platform.
      • 3+ years of experience in team leadership/management.
      • Experience in cloud-based data platform capabilities including Data Warehousing, Data Visualization and Data Management (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Tableau, Looker, SAP Lumira and more).
      • Demonstrated experience building large-scale solutions in multiple major cloud providers - AWS, Azure, or GCP.
      • Understanding of modern warehousing, data lake patterns and SAP HANA data model.
      • Ability to lead technical discussions with other Engineering Leaders, Solutions and Enterprise Architects
      • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.
      • In-depth understanding of the tools and services available in the market to develop actionable business insights and scale data platforms effectively and efficiently to solve the most demanding data and analytics needs.
      • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with engineers, business stakeholders, and cross functional technology leaders.
      • Experience in SAP based analytics systems.
      • Security first mindset to ensure better security across the data platforms.
