We are currently seeking a Marketing Director who is creative, innovative, and inspirational to refresh the world and make a difference. As a Frontline Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading our local Front-line Activation team, working together with European categories team, and building bottler & franchise relations. This role requires ability to drive system engagement, high level of collaboration and influence (senior) stakeholders as the role is responsible for day-to-day contact & alignment with big central category members, Integrated marketing experiences (IMX) teams, franchise network, big and small bottling partners, agencies, customer teams, and commercial leadership.       Frontline Marketing Director will:

      • Embedded within the Regional plan, develop short- (1 year) and mid-term (2-3 years) business/brand plans on a relevant way for each market in charge identifying business objectives, strategies, key initiatives, and performance measurements by using insights collected from situation assessment, marketplace information, etc. in order to support the OU category and brand growth targets.
      • Drive bottler alignment on the Marketing Transformation agenda, including portfolio priorities and category/brand strategies and plans (objectives, DME investments, success metrics and activity calendars, including Innovation projects and IMX Campaigns) in partnership with C&CL and Franchise Leadership.
      • Inspire the internal and external stakeholders’ including the large sales organization of our bottling partners to deliver the perfect execution for our brands and our marketing plans.
      • Oversee localization and real-time amplification of Integrated Marketing Experience (IMX) campaigns within the Franchise units, providing input to OU IMX team.
      • Assess attractive local (OU) consumer opportunities that are currently untapped by the Company by leveraging consumer research to identify new volume and profit growth areas (e.g., new beverage sub-categories, new packaging opportunities, new merchandise categories, new channels of distribution to sell licensed merchandise).
      • Provide input on OU and Market level portfolio strategy, brand plans (activities, calendars, execution of allocated DME) and local innovation opportunities, and to OU IMX team for localization and/or real-time amplification at Market-level.
      • Participate in agile projects for the development of OU and Market-level innovation and IMX campaigns.
      • The person will play a pivotal role to provide direction and coaching to the local marketing team and to members of project/network teams. Lead cross-functional teams on work assignments and tasks; provide direction and manage timeline milestones to achieve KPIs and desired objectives.
      • Manage local brand(’s/s’) NR, GP, DME to deliver the OU brand growth and financial targets.

      Frontline Marketing Director will carry out duties through her/his team (including situational coaching and talent development) and individually; and interacting regularly with her/his Regional Frontline Marketing and broader Europe OU marketing team.

      KeY SUCCESS PARAMETERS

      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business.
      • 8-12 years of brand management / marketing experience, including leading portfolio of brands/multiple categories. Innovation experience a plus (demonstrated ability to lead a concept from idea to shelf). International and multiple market experience is preferred.
      • Ability to understand market dynamic, competitive moves/understanding and design relevant plans to win in the market, leveraging business, finance, and commercial insights. Identify needs for campaign localization or customization, as necessary. Knowledge of procedures and media used to drive increased volume and brand equity. Making consumers and their needs the primary focus of the business.
      • Ability to adapt to changing environment and cross correct in due time, scenario planning thinking.

      People Management and Leadership

      • Proven record of leadership impact and coaching teams. Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams is preferred.
      • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with key partners (category marketing teams, bottler teams, external agencies), and ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders.
      • Great project management skills, able to coordinate multiple projects at the same time and deliver high quality on time, while creating disruptive and unique consumer experiences on the market (digital, retail, live). Leverage digital technologies, trends, experiential marketing, influencers, etc.

      Communication Focus

      • Role will require frequent communication with Frontline Marketing Zone leadership team, OU Category Leads, OU IMX team, and OU C&CL team, OU Franchise leadership teams
      • Is the main Marketing counterpart of the Senior Director, Franchise Operations (Country Manager for countries in charge)
      • Role will also interact frequently with Bottlers and external parties (activation and digital agencies, media)
