      Job Summary
      The Director of Finance will be responsible for supporting business areas such as Technology and other General & Administrative organizations. This role will provide strategic thought leadership, people leadership and financial analytical expertise to the related Executive Vice Presidents and staff. This role is also responsible for consolidating the total G&A expenses for communication to the Financial Planning & Analysis team and executive leadership.


      Primary Activities and Responsibilities

      • Manage and develop finance professional staff
      • Lead financial business planning process for $1 billion expense portfolio
      • Lead capital planning process for $200M capital expenditure portfolio
      • Develop a positive working relationship with all business partners, providing insightful financial information that supports accountability and leads to tangible initiatives or actions
      • Ongoing analysis and reporting of financial performance versus established targets, prior business results and relevant industry benchmarking
      • Review financial performance with business partners and identify areas to improve financial performance
      • Establish and lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving company performance
      • Accurately forecast financial performance and provide broader strategic view of relevant revenue, expense and capital expenditure areas
      • Other relevant financial activities and responsibilities as assigned
      • Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
      • 3 or more years of experience in economic analysis, decision support, and resource allocation

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Graduate Degree
      • 5 or more years of experience in economic analysis, decision support, and resource allocation
      • 1 or more years of supervisory experience
      • 1 or more years of experience in supporting Technology projects

      Knowledge and Skills

      • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, executive, and external audiences
      • Strong financial and analytical skills
      • Experience with executing financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes
      • Time management and organizational skills

      • History of developing effective cross-functional relationships and working collaboratively with business partners to achieve their goals
      • Ability to design and deliver presentations for various audiences
