      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Identify new and existing sources of group business for all properties and book this business across the portfolio
      - Conduct regular sales calls and visits to target areas, strategic accounts, and vertical business segments
      - Assist property Sales Managers in closing business as needed
      - Lead and participate in industry trade shows and events to enhance visibility for the employer
      - Review and manage departmental budget with senior leadership

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - A minimum of 5 years' experience in a group sales role on a property or in a multi-property direct sales position
      - Prior experience selling multiple destinations and brands
      - Experience selling within the East Coast region, primarily focused on corporate vertical markets
      - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      - CRM experience preferred, specifically with iVvy or similar systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in developing major customer appreciation events in key feeder markets
      - Familiarity with the legality of contractual agreements and preferred vendor negotiations
      - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
      - Leadership experience in industry organizations
      - Background in budget management and strategic planning
