What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a product expert within the travel industry segment for the employer
- Develop and maintain relationships to generate transient business from a defined global market
- Target business travel, wholesale, and West Coast leisure market segments
- Identify and pursue new accounts and emerging market opportunities
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a travel industry sales role on a property or in a multi-property direct sales position
- Prior experience selling multiple destinations and multiple brands
- Experience selling within the West Coast region
- Deep relationships within the luxury travel advisor community
- Able to travel up to 40% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of luxury leisure, consortia, business travel, and wholesale segments
- Familiarity with the annual RFP solicitation process and management for the field
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a remote team environment
