      Position Title: Director of North American Commercial Sales

      Location: Cleveland, OH

      Purpose of Position:

      Reporting to the Global Vice President of Sales, the position will be a highly effective senior leader and communicator with extensive experience and understanding of the military, police, and specialist user markets. The individual will have the ability to develop long-standing and productive relationships at all levels of an organization. They will be charged with developing a strategy that rapidly enhances top-line growth within the North America market space. This role will manage a team of regional sales managers who oversee regional dealer relationships and engage with local law enforcement agencies. Extensive travel across North America is required.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Develop the North American sales team culture, strategy, and objectives.
      • Contribute to transformative change across the business.
      • Manage sales from two business units: Respiratory Protection SBU and Head Protection SBU.
      • Develop and implement the overall sales and growth strategy, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
      • Oversee pipeline development and conversion with regional sales managers, providing pipeline data to SIOP teams for alignment with product requirements.
      • Maintain forecast accuracy.
      • Define multi-year strategic goals and build key campaigns and initiatives to achieve these goals.
      • Lead the identification, qualification, development, and execution of new business opportunities to grow top-line sales performance.
      • Deliver order intake in line with budget expectations.
      • Build and strengthen relationships with customers and agent/channel partners.
      • Provide key customer feedback to influence Product Category Management focus and strategy for product roadmaps.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and the partner ecosystem to drive customer and revenue outcomes.
      • Redefine go-to-market strategies to address the needs of US law enforcement customers.


      Minimum Qualifications:
      • Extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and sales management.
      • Proven track record of successfully completing growth campaigns in complex technical environments.
      • Background as a Sales Director or equivalent role, with validated high-value sales solutions experience and senior-level relationship management.
      • Ability to build long-standing relationships with customers and partners that deliver organizational value.
      • Proven experience with Commercial markets (Police, Special Operations, and professional industrial markets) procurement programs.
      • Significant negotiating and commercial management experience with large, sophisticated customers.
      • Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively in delivering programs of change.
      • Highly skilled in building strategic business insights to understand complex external and customer issues.
      • Creative thinker with the ability to structure and execute complex initiatives and strategic growth programs.
      • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and business solutions clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional audiences.

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Business or marketing degree; MBA preferred.
      • Past experience in the law enforcement industry is a plus.

      The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work remote is $180,000 to $200,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
