The Department of Public Safety is one of the largest fully integrated police and fire departments in the United States, with a FY 2024-25 budget of $103.8 million and 204 sworn staff and 89 professional staff. Public Safety Officers are fully trained as police officers, firefighters, and EMTs.

They will be an adaptable professional with proven success leading change. A sophisticated understanding regarding the utilization of data in strategy development and resource deployment will be expected. Minimum Requirements:

1. Seven years of public safety experience.
2. At least two years in a management capacity.
3. A Bachelor's degree.
