      Who You Are

      You are highly experienced at leading go-to-market (GTM) SaaS sales teams with expert focus on business development and new logo acquisition. You seamlessly operate on the frontline and have the skills to speak to strategic deployment and underlying tactics at the Sr. leadership level.

      Bringing a “closer” mentality first and foremost, you elevate your teams’ skills through hands-on coaching and fluency with core SaaS software sales metrics. In addition, you have experience working cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, RevOps, Partnerships, Product, Customer Success, and Finance.

      You find fast-paced and disruptive environments, including complexities borne from M&A activities, engaging. You lean-in to related challenges and capitalize on the opportunities to expand your skills and career growth. You have experience operating in an equity-owned environment.


      What You’ll Do

      Reporting to the SVP Global Sales, this role will deliver new revenue through sales activities and team management.

      Specifically, the Director of Sales will:

      • Overachieve the North America new sales revenue target
      • Manage teams of Account Executives and business development representatives
      • Manage and expand the sales pipeline funnel top to bottom and ensure highly accurate predictability and forecasting
      • Rapidly understand and optimize a multi-channel sales acquisition model
      • Drive adherence to core sales metrics and KPIs in systems including Gong, Outreach, and Salesforce.com with excellent data integrity and hygiene expectations
      • Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships as sources of new revenue while working to impro ve the s ales-sourced opportunity ratio
      • Elevate product, market, and technical acumen for the sales team by partnering with the Sales Engineering function
      • Hit weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines for funnel and revenue-centric reporting rolling up to the SVP Global Sales
      • Partner with the SVP Global Sales during the annual planning cycle to deliver an accurate and informed plan
      • Lead GTM pipeline review and sales forecasting with a deal-by-deal fluency level
      • Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines for funnel and revenue-centric reporting as directed
      • Support one-off projects and initiatives driven by GTM leadership and the CEO
      • Support global sales initiatives and teams

      What We’re Looking For

      • 8+ years in Sales owning and hitting your number
      • 3+ years managing B2B SaaS teams in a high growth environment
      • A closer with proof of exceeding Account Executive (AE) and business development roles
      • Experience leading Account Executive and business development roles
      • Complete knowledge of the core metrics associated with a SaaS sales business
      • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned management sales goals
      • Extreme fluency with sales tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com, Gong, Outreach, Seamless, Drift, etc.
      • Extreme attention to detail - reporting is flawless
      • Ecommerce industry experience is a plus
      • Experience with product led growth and acquisition environments is a plus
      • Strong management skills to prepare the sales motion for the next phase of our growth journey
      • Comfortable with providing solutions, but asking for help when needed
      • Able to prioritize tasks that improve the Searchspring customer journey and revenue attainment
      • Operate according to Searchspring values and lead with integrity, humility, and with a collaborative spirit
      • Capability to travel as directed
