Ibis Adelaide is proud to report that we have successfully defended our title as Australia’s best ibis for several years running. The bones of our hotel include 311 rooms, a fitness center, restaurant and bar on level one, and two flexible conference spaces.

Pullman Adelaide rebranded in October 2018, having opened the doors originally in 2010. Pullman is now Australia’s largest 5 star hotel brand in Australia, with a focus on contemporary upscale offerings to our global nomads. The hotel consists of 308 rooms overlooking the picturesque Hindmarsh Square. Located on the top floor, the hotel’s main conference and events space has been recently renovated and relaunched in June 2022. 2024 will be an exciting year for the hotel and its Restaurant and Bar, currently under renovations, relaunching with a new concept in early 2024.

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity to take a product which is already something to be proud of, and drive it forward in creative and industry leading ways.

A dual property role, our Director of Sales & Marketing drives success for both the Pullman and ibis, a total of 619 rooms. Leading a team of seven in marketing, corporate and conference sales you will be responsible for setting and implementing strategy to maximize yield and grow business from all market segments as required, and bringing the team and key stakeholders with you to achieve the goals.

As part of the Accor network you will represent both the hotels and the broader network, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior decision makers from key accounts and prospective accounts.

Who will be successful?

An experienced and confident Director of Sales & Marketing who can demonstrate their ability to think creatively and use current tactics and tools to achieve results, who is an inspiring leader and coach and can prove their ability to deliver results that are above market. Five star hotel experience will be a significant advantage, as will knowledge of the Adelaide market.
