      Goodwill of Colorado is looking for an exceptional Director of Strategic Partnerships. This position reports to the V.P. of Marketing & Development and works with a remarkable team that is dedicated and passionate about driving long-term mission impact. This individual will play an integral role that further weaves Goodwill of Colorado into the fabric that makes Colorado communities strong.

      Goodwill of Colorado maintains two campuses, one in Colorado Springs and one in Denver, and is an accredited Platinum GuideStar organization, operating a social enterprise that includes 47 retail locations throughout the state. In addition, Ecommerce sales have grown significantly over the past 5 years. In 2023 Goodwill of Colorado served more than 127,000 individuals through programs that focus on education/training, workforce development and community impact.

      Job Description

      Pay: $85,000 to $110,00

      Work Schedule: M-F, some evenings, some weekends

      This Full Time job is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings.       JOB SUMMARY:

      Directs and manages the fundraising pipeline for Southern Colorado with the corporate and business communities and individual donors as a strategic advisor, expert fundraiser, and partnership owner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to raising funds for our two events, collaborating on our End of Year campaign, and year-round relationship management through building relationships, fostering prospects, and creating a pipeline for revenue growth. Strategies for corporate clients will include impact investment and employee engagement.

      The individual must be comfortable supporting and engaging with the CEO, supporting Board members when they need assistance with engagement on behalf of Goodwill, and collaborating with their peers to elevate the Goodwill brand and develop business.

      The successful individual will be one who people enjoy being with; one who can demonstrate the value of Goodwill to them or their company and who is not afraid of walking into a room where they know only a few people. As an extension, success will be achieved by the individual who understands how to help the person across the table achieve their own goals through assisting Goodwill in achieving its goals.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      Leadership:

      • Participates as a member of the team in strategic planning and implementation to accomplish Goodwill of Colorado mission.

      • Attends appropriate conferences, seminars, and events. Engaged in local business and philanthropic community.

      • Represents Goodwill of Colorado as needed in public venues such as special events, community activities, and organizations. Requires flexible schedule to attend events that may occur in the early morning, evening and weekends.

      • Supervises the Development Specialist, including the assignment of work responsibilities, the assessment of competency, the timely writing and delivery of performance appraisals.

      • Work in partnership with the Northern Colorado Director of Strategic Partnerships to meet annual fundraising goals.

      • Work closely with Marketing on developing marketing messages and materials for effectively communicating the call to action through a multi-channel approach and for multiple audiences.

      • Work with Community Impact to develop sources of revenue for initiatives and to identify corporate volunteer engagement strategies.

      Fundraising:

      • Create and execute strategic engagement plans for corporate/individual accounts.

      • Clearly articulate Goodwill of Colorado’s brand value, mission, and vision as well as its unique positioning to solve some of the most critical challenges impacting the communities we serve.

      • Develop, implement, lead, and measure strategically guided plans to sustain and increase revenue through corporate giving, individual giving and special events.

      • Manage and steward assigned accounts to develop stronger Goodwill of Colorado relationships and commitments.

      • Identify, recruit and develop prospects for new business development on a year-round basis.

      • Assist key companies to achieve corporate social responsibility and community engagement.

      • Track results analyze the progress of annual goals and metrics and make recommendations as needed. Meet and/or exceed annual fundraising goals.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant experience.

      Experience:

      • Minimum five years of experience in fundraising, sales, business development including proposal development.

      • Experience with Microsoft Office.

      • Experience with HubSpot or CRM software preferred.

      • Must have established level of business contacts/connections in the Pikes Peak Region.

      Per contract requirements with vehicle insurance provider: Qualified candidates must be 21 years of age and have no major traffic violations for previous 3 years (for driving/insurance purposes). Must have reliable transportation; must also be able to operate company vehicle.
