Define and execute the digital product strategy for our flagship AJC subscription product, including AJC.com, the AJC mobile app, newsletters, and other key features, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery and iteration.• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to refine priorities and establish a clear product roadmap.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, and customer experience, to deliver high-quality, impactful features.
Leverage customer insights and data analytics to identify opportunities for growth, retention, and engagement.
Champion Agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team.
Ensure on-time delivery of product releases with a focus on quality and user satisfaction.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product positioning and differentiation strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years’ experience in a related field; or 14 years’ experience in a related field
7+ Years of Experience: Proven expertise in product management, with at least 3 years in senior product roles. Experience in consumer-facing products is highly preferred.
Strategic Vision: Ability to craft and articulate a product strategy that aligns with long-term business objectives.
Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of user research, data analysis, and customer journey mapping to inform product decisions.
Operational Excellence: Strong experience in Agile methodologies, roadmap planning, and release management.
Technical Acumen: Comfortable working with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Executive Communication: Skilled at presenting to senior stakeholders and simplifying complex concepts for varied audiences.

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $144,900.00 - $241,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description

You will also serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Product and our Chief Product Officer, helping shape the broader product roadmap and organizational strategy.
