      JOB DESCRIPTION

      We're looking for a Director, Retail Employee Experience to help reimagine the end-to-end employee experience for our retail teams through learning, development and communication. You will lead our Retail Communications & Events team, as well as our Retail Learning & Development team to develop a comprehensive communication & learning strategy that encompasses all aspects of our business. You will provide support to our US & Canada retail fleet of more than 5,000 employees. This role will play a critical role in creating a culture where employees feel informed, recognized, engaged and supported in their growth and development. This position has a high level of visibility and involved regular interaction with senior leadership. You will manage a team of two direct report and this role reports to the Senior Director, US Retail & Omni Channel Operations.

      Key Responsibilities / Tasks

      • Lead overall communication strategy and content development for all retail stores, including consumer experience, operations, compliance, recognition, engagement, and task management.
      • Create executive presentations, including speeches, letters, key messages & videos for Regional Directors & SVP of US DTC.
      • Own & manage all field events, including District Manager meetings and Field Leadership Conferences.
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive field recognition and contest strategy that engages our retail teams and supports business objectives.
      • Partner with Global DTC Training team, US DTC business partners as well as our field leaders to align on training needs, roadmap and execution plans.
      • Build a comprehensive learning & development strategy and content library for all levels of our retail field organization (from Stylist to District Manager), including onboarding, service, operational & product training as well as skill development to help our teams grow in their careers with LS&Co.
      • Embrace a growth mindset and leverage testing, data, insights and feedback to continue to elevate training programs.
      • Develop & deliver training content for a variety of mediums, including e-learning, instructor lead courses, virtual webinars and train-the-trainer sessions.
      • Oversee communication and learning management systems and partner with Global DTC & IT teams on enhancements, bug fixes or platform changes that benefit.
      • Drive change management in communication and training practices and processes through all levels of the organization.
      • Lead, inspire and engage a team of six, including two direct reports.

      Desired Skills & Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree
      • 7-10 years’ experience in learning & development and/or communications. Retail or hospitality experience preferred.
      • Strong analytical skills and ability to influence and prioritize training initiatives
      • Strategic leader with vision to create training & communication plans for future needs and opportunities
      • Ability to partner with and influence all levels of management and employees
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex to various audiences
      • Strong project management and change management skills
      • Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to satisfy our internal and external customers
      • Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
      • Skilled at prioritizing and working under time constraints, handling multiple tasks, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments
      • Strong expertise of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
      • Travel within North America required

      The expected starting salary range for this role is $142,100-$215,200. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
