      • Lead a team of safety professionals, providing direction, establishing individual and team objectives, and supporting professional development.
      • Develop and implement safety strategy; learning about the organization, building relationships, gathering, and analyzing data to ensure plans align with business objectives.
      • Work in a complex manufacturing environment that allows you to build on your 10 plus years of progressive safety experience in a position of influence where your expertise is highly valued.

      You are good at:

      • Developing safety programs, resources, and campaigns to ensure that the company meets and exceeds all applicable safety regulations and standards.
      • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including WorkSafe BC, other regulators, medical providers, adjusters, investigators, and safety partners across Canada, US and Australia.
      • Building engagement and enthusiasm, maximizing the value of health and safety committees, participation in safety initiatives and buy in from department heads and employees.
