Primary Purpose The Director of Sales Enablement will oversee learning activities, curriculum, and resources by assessing the state of the sales team, diagnosing gaps and areas of improvement, streamlining, developing, and implementing strategies, tools and resources that empower the sales professionals to excel in their roles. This person will be passionate about sales, possess a deep understanding of the sales process, and have a knack for creating impactful training and enablement programs. Essential Functions Consult with managers, leaders and subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain accurate and up to date curriculum that helps employees understand expected progress and milestones Design high quality ILT and VILT, + other learner directed tools and resources Identify training needs by using performance reviews and skills gap analyses, conducting surveys, interviewing appropriate managers, business subject matter experts and evaluating feedback from existing programs Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs and recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and game-based platforms) Develop, curate, and maintain a comprehensive repository of sales training content that covers product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, industry trends, product collateral, and competitive information using presentations, playbooks, and guides. Develop and maintain sales playbooks that provide step-by-step guidance for different stages of the sales cycle, helping sales representatives navigate complex situations and improve their close rates Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify key performance metrics and create dashboards and reports that provide insights into the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives Regularly assess the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and iterate on strategies to improve outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and sales leadership, to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall business objectives Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in sales enablement Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities.
