What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets for key accounts
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding distribution channels
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers or sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate sales performance and prepare regular sales reports for senior leadership
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a sales capacity within a Consumer Packaged Goods company or related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret account-specific data
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead change and execute on strategic decisions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of current and future trends affecting the retailer organization
- Experience with sales forecasting and trade planning management
- Expertise in leveraging thought leadership to develop activation priorities
- Familiarity with Nielsen/IRI syndicated data
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
