About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our SAP Center of Excellence (CoE), with a focus on the technical and functional aspects of FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), MM (Materials Management), Inventory, and Supply Chain modules in SAP S/4HANA. As the Director of SAP CoE, you will be responsible for overseeing the post-implementation phase of our SAP S/4 HANA system and driving continuous improvement and optimization within our organization.

Responsibilities Include:

• Contribute to and execute the business roadmap for the SAP Platform and associated technologies working with business partners to ensure demand is prioritized, projects and solutions are effective and business functions are supported.
• Design, improve and implement robust and controlled business process solutions for Operations functions utilizing SAP and supporting systems to ensure effective integration with other business functions and applications
• Oversee the development and implementation of solutions that ensure data consistency and availability. Ensure the Master Data Governance policies, guidelines and day to day execution is effective and efficient.
• Work with business and IT teams to define and deploy best in class business process and integration improvements utilizing SAP and Retail best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and optimization in our SAP S/4HANA system. Analyze business processes, system performance, and user feedback to drive enhancements that maximize efficiency, productivity, and user experience.
• Ensure the ongoing stability, availability, and performance of the SAP S/4HANA system. Collaborate with technical teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, while minimizing disruptions to business operations. Provide support and guidance to resolve technical and functional issues encountered by end-users.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and align SAP functionalities with retail industry best practices. Continuously evaluate and optimize business processes, leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities to streamline operations, improve visibility, and enhance decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a team of technical and functional SAP professionals, facilitating their growth and development. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to support the SAP S/4HANA system effectively.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as finance, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain teams, to understand their needs and align SAP functionalities accordingly. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on leveraging SAP S/4HANA to drive business process improvements and achieve strategic objectives.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of support services. Evaluate and recommend third-party solutions and tools that can enhance the functionality of SAP S/4HANA for specific business requirements.
• Provide input into resource planning, staffing needs, cost estimation, budget development and cost control.
• Lead career development and succession management efforts to ensure retention, motivation and engagement of current and future staff, coach and mentor employees' professional and technical development.
• Provide an environment that allows and perpetuates empowerment by pushing decision making responsibility down to the lowest level within practical qualifications.
• Oversee the identification and maintenance of training requirements with respect to existing or new technologies.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and its impact on SAP configuration.

About The Pay:

• Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 Annually

About You:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience (12+ years) in SAP implementation and support, focusing on FICO, MM, Inventory, Sales, and Supply Chain modules within the retail industry.
• Proven experience in leading the post-implementation phase of SAP S/4HANA projects in a retail environment.
• Strong technical and functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA, including system maintenance, performance optimization, and support.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Deep understanding of retail industry processes, trends, and challenges.
• SAP certifications in relevant modules are highly desirable.
• Detailed knowledge of integration points between SAP & NON-SAP systems.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP/ S/4 HANA, SAP CAR, SLT, SOLMAN & BTP.
