      THE ROLE

      The Director of Strategic Initiatives & Operations will be a hybrid of working as a member of the Corporate Strategic Initiatives & Operations team on various projects, and supporting the Chief Strategy Officer with the Artist Nation Management Group.

      WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DO:

      • Role is on Corporate Strategic Initiatives & Operations team

      • This role will split time roughly 50/50 between traditional work done by the Strategic Initiatives & Operations team and work supporting Chief Strategy Officer’s work with the Artist Nation Management Group (ANMG)

      • Traditional work with Corporate Strategic Initiatives & Operations teams will involve a wide variety of projects

        • Past projects have been revenue focused, cost focused, assessment of white spaces, operational improvements, and technology strategy

        • Projects range from Corporate-led efforts, to leading initiatives at the intersection of different Live Nation divisions, to supporting divisions (primarily in the Concert segment) on high priority initiatives

        • Additionally, the Strategic Initiatives & Operations team supports the annual cycle of strategic planning, working with divisions on their priorities for the upcoming year and helping to develop the overall company strategy

      • Work for ANMG will primarily involve supporting business development/M&A efforts, both for ANMG overall, and to support individual artist management groups. Such work includes valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and collaboration with attorneys on documentation. The work for ANMG will also include some ongoing operational and governance support.

      • The work done for ANMG may lead to other opportunities in business development/M&A, primarily related to new business launched or invested in outside of Live Nation’s core concert business

      WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:

      • 2-5+ years in management consulting or equivalent

      • Bachelor’s Degree and MBA or JD (or equivalent)

      • Experience in M&A or negotiation is a plus, but not a requirement

      • Experience in music is not required, but candidate needs strong interest in music and the music business

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to formulate and articulate viewpoints in a clear, succinct manner

      • Detail-oriented, organized and able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment

      • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills

      The expected compensation for this position in California is:

      $168,000.00 USD - $210,000.00 USD
