      Job Description

      The Tax Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax operations and tax compliance functions. This role typically focuses on ensuring adherence with tax filing and payment regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and managing tax risks across multiple jurisdictions for both our direct and full-service tax network partners.

      Core Job Duties

      • Develop and implement the company's global tax strategy, aligning with overall business goals
      • Serves as a subject matter expert regarding governing agency mandates & system functionality
      • Ensure service bureau level testing and registrations are completed and in compliance with agency mandates
      • Manage the system configuration for monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions
      • Proactively assess modifications and system enhancements acting as liaison to product teams
      • Lead tax audits and all prep work for payments and filings
      • Implement and maintain tax technology solutions to streamline tax reporting, compliance, and planning processes

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
      • Expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws
      • Experience managing tax operations for complex business entities
