      The University of Arizona seeks a Director, Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Beach Volleyball Operations for administration of the women’s volleyball and beach volleyball programs, including all aspects of team travel and equipment liaison activities.

      Duties & Responsibilities
      • Administer the day to day operations of the Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Beach Volleyball Programs
      • Assist Head Coach, serve as support for coaches and staff
      • Coordinate all aspects of team travel. Candidate will have to travel with team
      • Reconcile team travel receipts
      • Create and maintain all necessary business office documents related to team travel and recruiting, including submitting forms for reimbursement and payment
      • Assist the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches with coordinating recruiting
      • Set up Travel Authorizations for team travel and coaches’ travel for recruiting
      • Submit receipts for all P-Cards to the Business Office
      • Enter in information in ARMS and update as needed
      • Plan and organize Arizona’s and visiting team’s practices
      • Work with Compliance and Head Coaches on submitting the Time Management Plan
      • Works directly with academics and compliance ensuring NCAA compliance
      • Serve as primary contact with various internal constituents, such as event management, public relations, marketing, sports information, Wildcat Club and others, working in cooperation with their efforts in conjunction with volleyball programs
      • Assist in developing and maintaining public relations programs. Aid in design and development of a program to reach out to the community, schools, and other service organizations
      • Aide incoming student-athletes with initial paperwork and requirement, serve as point of reference
      • Assist Head Coaches in budget development, oversee purchasing and expenses, and reconciliation
      • Provide analytical reports to Head Coaches to assist in budget preparation
      • Liaison with Business Office on all receipts and forms
      • Supervise and act as a liaison on all women’s volleyball and women’s beach volleyball external programs
      • Coordinate usage and preparation of volleyball and beach volleyball facilities and equipment for use in practice and games
      • Serve as contact person for equipment and team uniform orders
      • Supervise student managers and other key personnel
      • Coordinate and plan summer camps
      • Additional duties as assigned

      • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude
      • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time
      • Demonstrated strong organizational and administrative skills
      Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • One year of experience coordinating functions for a department or unit
      • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
      • Experience working in college athletic environment
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Master’s Degree
      • One year of experience working in a college athletic environment
      • Experience analyzing and interpreting policy and procedural guidelines to resolve problems and answer specific to athletic teams
