      **What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
      - Manage a caseload of Short Term and Long Term Disability claims
      - Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather necessary information
      - Apply contractual provisions and case management resources to ensure accurate benefit determinations
      - Provide superior customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and rendering benefit decisions
      - Conduct claim reviews with specialized resources to facilitate return-to-work opportunities

      **What is Required (Qualifications):**
      - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience in STD/LTD claims adjudication
      - Knowledge of ERISA regulations, disability offsets, and Social Security procedures
      - Proficient in computer applications, including Excel and web-based systems
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills

      **How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
      - Experience in Third Party Administration (TPA) or self-administration services
      - Familiarity with FMLA and state leave claims
      - Aptitude for learning medical terminology and interpreting related regulations
      - Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze information, and implement decisions
      - Effective interpersonal skills for engaging with various stakeholders
