      This role provides customer service assistance with the administration of the student accommodation process at The Ohio State University. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing daily applications and administrative forms, sending correspondence utilizing database system, answering and appropriately triaging phone and e-mail inquiries, and answering questions, making internal and external referrals, and providing excellent customer service; communicates to students, SLDS staff members, faculty, staff and community members, generates and shares reports with university and Student Life partners to insure appropriate delivery of accommodations; serves as the point of contact and provides guidance and training for professional, student staff members, and university community members on processes as needed.

      Additional Information:

      Required: High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of relevant experience; experience answering multiline phones, experience providing customer service to diverse populations; experience or training handling confidential information; ability to multi-task, problem-solve and prioritize; knowledge and operation of computer and basic office technology/equipment and MS Office 365 programs.

      Desired: Certification or vocational training, 2 to 4 years’ experience working in a higher education setting, setting serving individuals with physical, psychological, or learning disabilities or a front desk or reception setting; demonstrated experience working with diverse individuals.

      Target hiring range is $15.29 to $20.41.
