What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the delivery of the FEMA Public Assistance program and project worksheet development
- Analyze and resolve grants administration issues and challenges
- Provide excellent customer service and support to partner agencies
- Maintain communication and track project progress in management information systems
- Coordinate resolution of project-related issues and ensure timely administrative processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with FEMA, State, or Local Public Assistance operations
- At least 2 years of experience analyzing FEMA project worksheets
- Must possess a valid California driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- Willingness to travel as required for project work
- Strong analytical skills and experience addressing complex operational issues in disaster recovery

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of grants administration and FEMA Public Assistance policies
- Experience with complex political and programmatic elements in disaster recovery
- Background in various types of construction
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
