Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Dispatcher. Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor and working alongside the Delivery Coordinators, this position is responsible for ticketing trucks for the delivery of ready-mix concrete. The Dispatcher plays an integral role in providing excellent service while maintaining an emphasis on product quality and costs. What You’ll Get To Do:

• Day-to-day dispatching of up to 80 ready mix trucks from 10 concrete plants
• Interact with drivers, operations team, and coworkers to satisfy requests for information and changes in shipping requirements
• Monitor all aspects of concrete delivery and supply
• Interact with all concrete division staff on dispatch related matters
• Provide leadership to ready mix truck drivers

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience dispatching
• Must be willing to work flex hours including Saturdays.
• Able to maintain a high level of attention to detail while multitasking in a fast paced, team environment.
• Possess a high level of digital literacy, including intermediate knowledge of Teams and MS Office, as well as experience using web-based programs.
• Familiar with WorkSafe/Employment Standards/Ministry of Transport policies and regulations is an asset

• Role operates primarily a professional office environment but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
